线上展览|2021“一带一路”百校结好艺术展第四辑

　　文明因多样而交流，因交流而互鉴，因互鉴而发展。为庆祝中国共产党成立100周年，促进我省青少年国际文化交流，推动“一带一路”沿线国家和地区校园文化艺术交流与互学互鉴，加强与国际友好城市、友好组织的交往，由甘肃省人民对外友好协会、甘肃省文化和旅游厅共同主办，甘肃省教育厅、西北师范大学协办，甘肃省博物馆和西北师范大学美术学院承办的第二届“一带一路”百校结好艺术展线上展览正式推出。本次展览以“肩并肩、手牵手”为主题，共收到来自8个国家62个学校200余件作品，这些风格各异、生动构思、创意盎然的作品，用独特的艺术语言，表达中外青少年儿童对携手前行的美好期盼，对未来美好的美好向往。

　　桃李不言，下自成蹊。我们希望用孩子们的画笔，绘就“一带一路”民心相通的金桥。我们希望用孩子们充满想象力的作品，去创造和实现更多友好交往的梦想。

　　在第37个教师节来临之际，“一带一路”百校结好艺术展正式推出第四期线上展览作品，让我们用36幅风格各异的美术作品，向广大教师和教育工作者致以节日祝贺和诚挚问候!

　　Diversity spurs interaction among civilizations, which in turn promotes mutual learning and their further development. In order to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, promote international cultural exchanges among young people in Gansu province, enhance cultural and artistic communications and mutual learning in campuses of countries and regions along the Belt and Road, and strengthen exchanges among international friendly cities and organizations, the 2nd online B &R Art Exhibition of 100 Schools is officially presented, sponsored by Gansu Provincial People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and Gansu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, co-organized by Gansu Provincial Department of Education and Northwest Normal University, and undertaken by Gansu Provincial Museum and Academy of Fine Art &Design, NWNU. With the theme of “Side by Side, Hand in Hand”, 200 pieces of works from 62 schools of 8 countries have been received for the exhibition. These works, with different styles, vivid expressions, creative ideas and unique artistic languages, express the expectations of Chinese and foreign children to move forward together and the yearning for a bright future.

　　As a Chinese saying goes, “Peaches and plums do not speak, but they are so attractive that a path is formed below the trees.” We sincerely hope that children will paint a golden bridge of people-to-people exchanges along “B &R”, and those imaginative works will help us to create and realize more dreams of friendly interaction.

　　On the occasion of the 37th Teachers’ Day, the 4th online B &R Art Exhibition of 100 Sister Schools Initiative is officially presented. With 36 pieces of artworks of diverse styles, we sincerely wish all the teachers and teaching staff a happy Teachers’ Day.

　　“一带一路”百校结好艺术展自举办以来，得到了“一带一路”沿线国家的广泛关注。近日，法国法兰西艺术院向本届艺术展特别选送著名画家皮埃尔·卡隆院士创作的《节日》和《划船》参展。

　　Since the 100 Sister Schools Initiative Art Exhibition has been held, it has attracted wide attention from the countries along the “Belt &Road”. Recently, the French Academy of Fine Arts sent a special selection of “ Festival Celebration and Boating” by Academician Pierre Caron, a famous painter, to participate in this art exhibition.

　　皮埃尔·卡隆(Pierre Carron)是法国著名的油画家、雕塑家。他1951年进入巴黎国立高等美术学院学习绘画，1967年皮埃尔被任命为巴黎国立高等美术学院教授，1990年被选为法兰西艺术院院士，2002年当选法兰西艺术院主席。皮埃尔·卡隆的作品先后被被蓬皮杜艺术中心、巴黎现代艺术博物馆等国际知名美术馆收藏。其作品无论是画面构图、还是人物姿态亦带有浓厚的古典美学烙印，亦呈现着一种古典之上的浪漫主义情怀，常给观者带来一些超越画面细节本身的共通感受。中国美协副主席、中国美术馆馆长吴为山评价皮埃尔·卡隆先生的作品，“以视觉的启发引领观者进入扑朔迷离的绘画世界，其表现儿童和风景的作品，洋溢着无穷的童趣意味”。

　　Pierre Carron is a famous oil painter and sculptor in France. He studied painting at Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1951 and worked as a professor there since 1967. In 1990 he was elected as an academician of the French Academy of Fine Arts, and elected president there in 2002. Pierre Callon’s works have been collected by the Centre Pompidou, the Museum of Modern Art in Paris and other internationally renowned art galleries. His works have a strong classical aesthetic appeal, both in picture composition and figure posture, and present a romantic sentiment beyond classicism, often arousing the viewers’ empathy beyond the details of the pictures themselves. Wu Weishan, Vice Chairman of the China Art Association and Director of the National Art Museum of China, commented that Mr. Pierre Callon’s works are visually inspiring and leading the viewers into the mysterious and enchanting painting world, and that his works about children and landscapes are full of endless childishness.

　　Divara’s Story of Selling Sheep

　　肯尼亚老人迪瓦拉今年六十岁了，他没有娶妻，也没有子女，牧羊是他唯一的谋生之道。可是由中国人投资修建的肯尼亚首条新铁路——蒙内铁路却截断了他放羊的必经之路。

　　Divara, a 60-year-old Man from Kenya, had neither a wife nor children. Shepherding sheep was his only way to earn a living. However, the Mombasa-Nairobi Railway, Kenya’s first new railway, which was invested and built by Chinese, cut off his only way of Shepherding.

　　好几次，迪瓦拉试图穿越铁路时都被中国工人阻止了，并告诉他一旦铁路通车，他就不能随意穿越铁轨。老头子当时就不干了，大吵大闹了一番，中国人面露难色，却暂时无法解决他的问题。

　　Several times when Divara tried to cross the railroad, he was stopped by Chinese workers and told that once the railroad was open to traffic, he would not be able to cross the tracks at will. The old man didn’t accept that and quarreled a lot, but it was difficult for Chinese workers to solve his problem for the time being.

　　有一天，迪瓦拉远远地看见一些中国工人在铁路边上装上了栅栏，这不是要断了他的活路吗？他气急败坏的去找中国人理论，可这次接待他的是一位温和的中年男人，向他解释了事情的始末……

　　One day, Divara saw some Chinese workers putting up fences along the railroad from afar, which was going to cut him off. He was furious and went to the Chinese workers to argue. This time he was received by a mild middle-aged man who explained to him the whole story...

　　迪瓦拉赶着羊群，唱着古老的歌谣，像年轻了二十岁一样。原来中国人帮他解决了难题。建议他卖掉一半羊。这样，小牧场能维持羊的生存，他既可以放羊，还能在铁路上工作。两项收入足够他度过余生了。

　　Divara drove his flock, singing old songs, as if he was twenty years younger. It turned out that the Chinese had helped him solve his problem: he was advised to sell half of his sheep. In this way, the small pasture could maintain the survival of the sheep, and he could work both as a shepherd and a railway worker, which was enough to support him for the rest of his life.
